Andrea was part of the first doctoral physical therapy class at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Pursuing a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation, she worked in an outpatient sports-based clinic directly out of school. As her clinic encouraged its therapists to find a specialty within orthopedics, Andrea was drawn to craniofacial pain management. Her first certification, Cranio-Facial Certified (CFC), was completed in 2014 under the instruction of Mariano Rocabado, physical therapist and TMJ specialist, through the University of St. Augustine. In 2019, she tested through the Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics (PTBCCT) to become a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT). This certification is well recognized by the American Academy of Orofacial pain. Andrea is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, as well as a Certified Clinical Instructor.
