About me

Brad M. Gilden, PT, DPT, CCTT, FAAOMPT, FFMT, PRC, CCTT, CSCS, is a physical therapist specializing in craniofacial, cervical, and temporomandibular disorders, with a clinical focus that integrates orofacial pain management, postural restoration, and airway-centric care. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree summa cum laude from Drexel University (2005) and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy with honors from New York Medical College (2000). Brad treats patients across three practices: IPA Manhattan Physical Therapy in New York City, where he is Co-Founder and President; EHS Physical Therapy & Wellness in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, where he serves as Managing Partner and Director of Rehabilitation; and Kinetichain Integrated Manual Physical Therapy in the Basalt/Aspen, Colorado area, where he is Co-Founder. His approach draws on Functional Manual Therapy, Postural Restoration, and behavioral breathing/capnometry training to address the interconnected roles of the jaw, airway, and cervical spine in patient health. A Board Member and Physical Therapy Section Leader for the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD), Brad frequently lectures on craniofacial and sleep-related topics, including presentations for AAOMPT, Winds of Change, and The Breathe Institute. He authored the Physical Therapy chapter (Ch. 15) of The Clinician's Handbook for Dental Sleep Medicine, 2nd Edition (Quintessence, 2025).
