Dr. Shira Weiss has been a practicing orthopedic physical therapist for 20 years and have dedicated the past several years to evaluating and treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, neck pain, orofacial pain, and headaches. She is currently one of northern Virginia’s only board Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapists. She will take the time to listen to your concerns and develop an individualized treatment plan to address your symptoms and help you reach your goals. She is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and collaborate with dental professionals in the area to determine the best treatment plan for you. She is a certified in Orofacial Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars and can incorporate dry needling techniques into your treatment plan.
