About me
Dr. Stephen McGeorge PT, DPT, CCTT graduated from the University of Akron in 2007 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology/Pre-PT, then graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2012 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy. Stephen was first introduced to TMJ disorders while working as an aide at a private sports medicine facility in Akron, Ohio. It was there that he started to have a passion and curiosity for treating patients with headaches and TMJ disorders and knew that he wanted to dive deeper into this specialty in the future. Stephen suffers from migraines and grew up with a mother who suffered from debilitating headaches, so this was also a drive for him to learn more about this specialty and provide his patients with the best up to date care. He started his journey first with a CCTT in Washington, DC for a CEU course, following, he had the opportunity to take part in Dr. Jeffrey Mannheimer’s mini residency in Princeton, New Jersey on Comprehensive Evaluation & Treatment of the Sub-Occipital, Craniofacial & Temporomandibular Complex. He obtained his CCTT (Certified Cervical & Temporomandibular Therapist) in 2025. Stephen is in beautiful Marietta, Ohio and treats a variety of patients in the outpatient orthopedic setting and is the only therapist that specializes in the evaluation, treatment and management of headache and TMJ disorders.
